Kimberly Bonney is dedicated to providing the highest standard of service to ensure the best solution for each patient’s individual needs. She has a strong awareness and deep compassion for individuals with hearing loss. She graduated with her Master’s Degree in 2001 from CSU Sacramento and worked at a non-profit hearing center in Sacramento. She then began working as an educational audiologist in Placer and Nevada County schools where she found working with children who were deaf and hard of hearing to be very rewarding. While working on her doctorate degree, she began working for a hearing aid manufacturer to gain insight into private audiology practices. In 2010, she graduated from Salus University with her Doctor of Audiology degree and bought Gold Country Hearing determined to bring the very best audiology and hearing aid services to Rocklin and Sacramento. Kim enjoys scuba diving and spending quality time with her family when she can squeeze it into her busy schedule.
Dr. Tracy Volkman believes investing in the lives of her patients is the key to meeting their communication needs. She is committed to helping them find the best solution to improve their hearing and improve their quality of life. Tracy graduated from CSU Sacramento with a Master’s Degree in 2003 and earned her Doctorate degree in Audiology from A.T. Still University, School of Health Sciences in 2011.
Tracy worked for both a local Ear Nose and Throat physician as well as a large hospital before moving to a private practice audiology group in Roseville for the last eight years. She has enjoyed the varied dynamics of each setting, but loves the family feel of private practice and is very happy to join the team at Gold Country Hearing. Tracy loves spending time with her husband and two children. She enjoys cooking and entertaining, is an enthusiastic arts lover, enjoys almost any activity that involves getting outdoors and has been competing in triathlons for the last three years.
Dr. Charley Sanders, AuD and the team at Gold Country Hearing are excited to show what sets them apart as leaders in the industry. As a hearing aid user himself, Dr. Sanders understands that hearing loss can be isolating, so he is dedicated to helping his patients hear their best and stay connected with their loved ones. He is determined to change the perception of the industry and meet the unique needs of his patients by empowering them to experience a greater independence and sense of belonging. Understanding the desire to feel a part of things, Dr. Sanders takes the time to educate his patients and their families about hearing loss and its treatments.
A native of the area, Dr. Sanders received his Master’s degree from CSUS and his Doctorate at Salus University. A witness to how treating hearing loss enriches lives, he returned to his alma mater, CSUS, to teach the next generation of audiologists. Patients return again and again, often referring their friends and family, and to Dr. Sanders, that trust is the ultimate compliment.
