Kimberly Bonney, AuD
Owner, Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Kimberly Bonney, AuD, is dedicated to providing the highest standards of personalized service and care for each of the patients at Gold Country Hearing and Balance. Her desire to bring unparalleled service to the hearing industry aligns with her deep sense of compassion for those who struggles with hearing loss. Dr. Bonney knew she wanted to change industry perceptions while helping her patients so she utilized her background as an educational audiologist and went to work for a hearing aid manufacturer so she could learn the inner-workings of private audiology practices.
After she graduated from Salus University with her Doctor of Audiology degree, she bought the very first Gold Country Hearing location, determined to bring the very best audiology and hearing aid services to the greater Sacramento area. Through her hard work, genuine compassion, and awareness for those who struggle with hearing loss, the practice has grown into four locations, each of them staffed by doctors of audiology.
Dubbed the “Audiology Angel” by her patients, she makes a sincere effort to connect with patients. She knows that hearing loss can be isolating, so she endeavors to help them stay connected with their friends and family, knowing that a sense of connection is vital for her patient’s well-being.

Local Hearing Loss Journeys
I wish I had not waited so many years.
The impact hearing aids have had on my life is surprisingly dramatic! I had NO idea I wasn’t hearing birds and crickets, gravel under my feet, my cat purring, leaves rustling, wind in the trees. My husband says I don’t ‘tune out’ anymore in conversations.
It’s the best thing you’ll do for your health and others’ consideration.
Gold Country Hearing knew what they were doing and had the latest equipment, which they used to its fullest. Hearing aids have allowed me to continue almost normally, unlike my brothers who refused to learn to live better with hearing aids.
My hearing loss slowly occurred over time.
I kept asking people to repeat themselves, which became very embarrassing. I was very impressed with Gold Country Hearing’s efficiency and professionalism. They have markedly improved my ability to hear clearly at normal tone levels. If you are concerned about your hearing, do not be worried about your evaluation and Gold Country Hearing’s recommendations.
My first impressions of them were that they are kind, pleasant, and interested in helping me
I am able to hear and understand much better. Plus my wife does not get to hear me ask WHAT? as much. If you are considering an appointment, don’t wait any longer. Go to Gold Country and you will be happy that you did.”
