"I took my mom today and I told them it was one of the most effective provider visits I have gone in forever. The best $75 I have spent in forever. I would had gladly even paid more. My mom is visiting from NY and she had a blockage in her ear that gave her balance issues, fullness, and hearing loss. We suspected wax build up because she had a similar issue before. Took her to urgent care at Sutter and they told her she had a fungal infection. Even I knew it was not that. I could not get her a visit to an ENT. I found this place. By chance I was able to get a same day appointment. Kylie DeLaney, Au.D. saw my mom. My mom hates anything to do with medical anything. She smiled and made comfortable. Asked what was the problem, listened carefully (my mom is a second language speaker). Kylie was very respectful and patient. She looked and sure enough the ear was clogged with wax. She made sure it got all of it out. My mom was in such a discomfort that I was ready to take her to the emergency room (she has a little growth in her ear that makes the wax difficult to get out). I think they could totally have made a point to charge more, but they did not. (i would have paid more gladly). My mom came out a different person right away. They did not try to sell us or force us into taking a hearing test, which some ENTs I called (Mercy and Stanford) required, even though my mom;s hearing is perfect. That would have been cruel for my mom in her state. Thank you so much. We are so appreciative. Everyone there treated us with kindness and respect. Imagine if as a woman (specially women of color) all the medical providers treated us that way and gave us that kind of result!"
