Virtual Appointments

Receive Hearing Care Remotely From Anywhere In The World

Lockdowns and social distancing protocols for COVID-19 have separated us from family, friends, and colleagues. To overcome this separation, most have turned to video calls or video conferencing as a means of staying connected. Medical providers as well as hearing care providers have turned to this form of care as an alternative to in-office consultations.

What are Virtual Appointments?

Our Virtual Appointments service as an alternative to either an in-office visit or our “Patient Priority Care” service has received an overwhelmingly positive response from our patients and visitors who have taken advantage of it. Through video conferencing, our hearing care professionals are able to connect with patients and new clients to provide hearing care or technical support for their hearing instruments.

This service is aimed at minimizing contact but has the added convenience of our patients being able to meet us whenever and wherever they are able. Even if you are on a tight schedule and can’t leave work, don’t have someone to look after your children or disabled adults during your appointment, don’t want to fight traffic, or you’re out of town on business or a well-deserved vacation, you can still receive the hearing care attention you need.

Our Virtual Appointments also allow potential patients to explore how they can benefit from our expertise in audiology with a no-obligation, 15-minute initial consultation. This is a great way for family and friends to encourage their loved one to seek help for their untreated hearing loss even if they’re a bit reluctant.

Five Easy Steps of a Virtual Appointment

Setting up a Virtual Appointment is as easy as scheduling an in-office appointment, if not easier. There are only five steps involved in order to take advantage of this service, including:

1. Fill out our “Schedule A Virtual Appointment” form.

The form will alert a member of our team to contact you and help set a time and date for your appointment.

2. You will receive a confirmation email.

After agreeing on a date and time for your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email. The email will include instructions for setting up and testing the camera and microphone on your device as well as the link you will use to attend your virtual appointment.

3. Connect with an audiologist.

When the date and time for your appoint arrive, you will connect using the link we provided in your confirmation email, connecting you through video conferencing for a face-to-face meeting with a care provider.

4. Our initial no-obligation consultations.

These consultations allow those who are not yet our patients fifteen minutes to ask questions, discuss their concerns about hearing loss, hearing tests, hearing aids, etc. When it is appropriate, your care provider will suggest scheduling an appointment or direct you toward other services as necessary.

5. Hearing care consultations for existing patients.

Our existing patients can also take advantage of Virtual Appointments for face-to-face hearing care consultations, device troubleshooting, remote device programming assistance, or any other service you would typically receive during an in-office visit.

Schedule a Virtual Appointment

If you would like to speak to an audiologist to discuss your challenges, then a Virtual Appointment is ideal for you. Simply complete the form, and we’ll schedule a convenient time for your appointment.
